Caffè Arti e Mestieri
Il cortile all’interno di un palazzo storico, in primavera e d’estate, il fresco è rilassante. Aperitivo o cena, momenti di delizia. Un’ampia vetrata introduce nella sala al pian terreno da cui si scorge il giardino originariamente progettato da Pietro Porcinai.
Il nuovo progetto di Interior è stato concepito a quattro mani da Duccio Grassi, autore del progetto originale del 1988, in collaborazione con LO STUDIO design. La sobrietà è di rigore. Modernità e contemporaneo convivono con eleganza. Le scale portano al piano superiore aperto e suggestivo. Un lampadario di segmenti luminosi posizionato al centro del doppio volume collega idealmente i due ambienti. Il bosco romantico evocato dalle carte da parati, le tappezzerie mélange delle banquette e le sedie di Josef Hoffmann restituiscono un mood mitteleuropeo. Oltre al buono c’è anche il bello al caffè Arti e Mestieri.
In spring and in summer, the internal courtyard of this historic building is cool and relaxing, providing moments of delight for dinner or an aperitif. Large windows frame the main dining room, offering views of the Pietro Porcinai-designed garden.
Modern and contemporary, elegant, yet restrained – these elements come together in perfect balance. The stairs lead to a spacious second level that opens onto the main dining room below and creates a lasting impression. A chandelier with illuminated segments sits in the centre of the room, bridging the double-height space to connect the two levels. With wallpaper that recalls a romantic forest, and mélange fabrics that adorn the banquettes and Josef Hoffmann chairs, the mood is distinctly Central Europe. Caffè Arti e Mestieri is a feast, not just for the palette, but for the eyes.
